AFOKG stands for "American Friends of Kehi Gaoun"
American Friends of Kehi Garoun (a 501c certified charitable organization in the USA). Our objective is to support change-organizations primarily in Nepal. Our Governing Council undertakes independent proposal reviews, funding decisions and project supervision.

Support selected projects through fund-raising and supervision, as per the regulations by the IRS.
Guru Srinivasan (Virginia) is a data-storage engineer from Rochester University. He is interested in injecting philosophical and impactful elements to his career.
Pratigya Upadhyayais an environmental researcher based in DC.
Pradip Sigdyal (New York) is a stock broker, equity researcher. A graduate of Clark University, he is interested in outsourcing social-change to teams on the ground.
Surendra Thapa (New York) is a lawyer focusing on compliance issues (Norte Damy, Middlebury). He has a keen interest in philosophy.
Prakash Tiwari (New York) is a student of sociology in CUNY. He migrated to the US from Nepal, where had worked in financial service industry for a decade.
Roman Shumunov (New York) is a real estate accountant from Brandeis University. He is interested in instilling reading habits in the young people.
